In the Dread Solstice this week, you responded to the arrival of Lunaghast, the Moon of Dark Secrets, by choosing to learn all the secrets, but victory was far from assured. Indeed, the choice was in the balance up until the last 3 minutes, when Skull got ONE MORE VOTE than Drake – meaning had a battle gone differently, or another couple of units been painted, we could have been looking at a very different turn of events!
As a result of your decision, the secrets and mysteries of Lunaghast have been laid bare, tempting Wizards across the land to court madness in pursuit of greater power. Now, any non-named Wizards in your army will be able to cast an additional spell in each hero phase – if they aren’t consumed by insanity first. No artefacts were revealed this week, but there are still plenty hidden throughout the campaign – so keep digging.
This week, the situation in the Mortal Realms continues to worsen as mysterious Red Mists descends upon Aqshy, imbuing those who inhale it with freakish strength. It’s up to you whether you embrace this strange phenomenon or undertake desperate measures to halt it. With rules, artefacts and the very destiny of the Mortal Realms in the balance, you won’t want to miss it – as we saw this week, a single vote can have an enormous impact.
To make entering easier, we’ve added even more locations to the Store Finder. If you weren’t able to participate in the first two weeks, there could well be a location near you now where you can register your results. You can check out the store finder – and the full details for this week’s choices – on the Malign Portents website. We’ll see you on the battlefield…

Alles anzeigenSoon: Two New German Facebook Pages
Over the past year, Warhammer Community has expanded enormously, and every day we’re looking for new ways to get in touch with hobbyists around the world. Very soon, we’ll be crossing a new threshold by providing a pair of Facebook pages specifically for our German speaking fans.
The German Facebook pages for Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 will be a place where you can check out news and previews, share pictures of your models and connect with other hobbyists who speak your language.
The pages are coming on Monday, so check back them to get involved.
Schon bald: Zwei neue deutschsprachige Facebook-Seiten

Alles anzeigenNews about Idonteh Deepkin.
Rumours, take with a grain of salt....
"he deepkin are not exactly the good guys in fact they are not exactly order per-se, they play more like the dark eldar, and their main reason for fighting is to capture the souls of others in other words they raid to steal souls to feel and have emotions but can't retain it for long. Think mermaids but not the disney version but the historical one.
The deepkin can fight on land as if they are still in water, in fact the models looks as if they are still swimming, this is because when they raid the area has a spell casted on it that allows them to fight normally, The models hair for example looks like its still floating in water best example of the effect is like the latest pirates of the caribbean movie where salazar mates if you notice their hair is somewhat as if submerge and floating underwater. The looks are somewhat mix greek and bit dark in nature.
Their mounts for the calvary like models are on shark looking things. There is a turtle too which is its center piece model. There is about 8 kits all together which will take up the whole month leading up to AOS 2.
Gathering Storm -> new 40k edition
Malign Portents -> new Age of Sigmar edition
Naming convention alone suggests this is going to happen. Add the new darkened Age of Sigmar logo and there should be even less doubt.
There is indeed rumors for a new Edition and a new Starter set in June (when "Souls War" from Josh Reynolds is out) : Death (new Reanimant or Nighthaunt) vs Stormcast Eternals (maybe Ruination or Sacrosanct Chamber) or even Aelves. Apparently GW managers had a formation about it recently.
Add to that - as Geifer said - a new logo, a new Battletomes format, a new FAQ system (maybe impacting the General's handbook 2018 release - it may looks more like Chapter Approved and it may be out this winter instead of this summer).

"13.3.18: The Idoneth Deepkin are here"
Leider mit fehlerhaftem Text und keinen Bildern.
https://www.warhammer-communit…idoneth-deepkin-are-here/

Alles anzeigenWhat we know so far :
- GW said it enough on WarCom and Facebook, Malign Portents heralds something big for AOS, lasting many months this year. I'd like to think of it like the "Gathering Storms" of 40k.
- AOS has since January 2018 : a new logo, a new FAQ system (aligned on 40k), a new Battletome format* (think the "Updated March 2018" mention at the end for exemple), etc. And two GHB and 40k 8th Ed. to take inspiration from.
- After a long break, GW is churning out new Battletomes fast. They probably don't want to invalidate them (at least the recent ones*) with a new edition. So "rules change" means IMO "rules reorganization", with the core rules remaining (maybe the "setting, battlefield, etc." first part of it being adapted), with the addition of a 3-ways-to-play introduction and maybe some "advanced rules". So core rules, 3 ways to play, advanced rules.
So a New rulebook, i.e. starter book ala "Mighty Battles in an Age of Unending War", would have a setting introduction similar to MP (and what @Turgol said last page) and could come with a new Starter set, which content may be : Stormcast Eternals (either Ruination or Sacrosanct Chambers) vs Death (Reanimant, Nighthaunt) or vs Aelves.

These informations either are public / educated guesses / rumors, those coming from several sources, mainly on the (French) Warhammer Forum ;
(NB : Since the Heachi / Temouloun "case" I won't name them directly, but you can easily find them on the Warfo - I can tell you they have dropped a HUGE amount of news for 40k since January, that were 100% (!) correct).
So the French rumors are ;
1. Age Of Sigmar will get an "evolution" around June (implied : an new Edition, the leakers being 40k players, they explicitly said they don't want to learn to play AOS before this "evolution"). So if it's about rules, we will surely get a new Main book, like @Morglum StormBasha said above.
EDIT : the terms used were directly "an Update of the rules, happening mid-June". Once again, by guys mentioning Morathi and Custodes since last year. Oh and "turtles" for the Idoneth Deepkin...
2. GW Managers apparently had formations about the new rules, around February.
3. Infos about a new Starter set, notably what @Moonstone or @Mortarch said, other Warfo users.
- - -
That's of course only rumors, but quite solid. I trust those sources. So I say : BRING IT ON

Alles anzeigenThe partnership between the two companies will be the development of an all-new-way for tabletop war gaming and trading card game (TGC) fans to experience the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. Known as Warhammer Age of Sigma Champions, players will be able to collect, play and experience the title with both physical trading cards and a fully digital trading card videogame that will be accompanied by a completely immersive AR experience built using PlayFusion’s proprietary computer vision and augmented reality technology, the Enhanced Reality Engine.
Mark Gerhard, CEO and Co-Founder of PlayFusion commented on the announcement saying: “Partnering with Games Workshop fulfills a lifelong dream of contributing to the Warhammer universe. The majority of our team and I grew up part of the Warhammer community, so it’s a huge honour for all of us to not only partner with such an iconic British company but also to contribute to one of the original and best fantasy IPs in the world, we are really passionate about developing a rich and innovative new way for the community and beyond to experience the Age of Sigmar.”
PlayFusion have worked on a number of different projects over the years including Lightseekers, another TCG that was made in partnership with TOMY and released last year. For Warhammer Age of Sigma Champions, PlayFusion will be bring hundreds of collectible cards to market that players will be able to use to build their own decks, finding strategies and tactics that work for them. The physical cards will also come to life when viewed through PlayFusion’s Enhanced Reality Engine allowing players to unlock various enhanced gameplay options all while experience the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe in stunning AR.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Champions will also feature a unique physical-to-digital experience, allowing players to import their physical cards into the digital title and play online with those very cards. This will give players a whole new way to experience the title and take their decks into battle both online and offline.
Jon Gillard, Head of Licensing for Games Workshop commented saying: “Working with such a talented and accomplished group like PlayFusion is an absolute privilege. Their passion, technological expertise, and just sheer ‘can do’ attitude has been seriously impressive, taking the richness of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and merging it with their innovative hybrid physical/digital trading card game makes for a winning combination anyway, but add in the cool AR functionality and this game really is something special.”
