Diskussions-Ecke für aktuelle Gerüchte

Sagt mal, hab ich einen Knick in der Optik oder stehen die Gruftwächter da auf einer einzigen großen Base?
Ich könnte schwören, dass das vor ein paar Wochen noch nicht der Fall war, denn da hab ich mir mit einem Freund dieses Set lange angesehen, weil er überlegt hat es zu kaufen.

Da könnte man jetzt auch viel hinein interpretieren, aber ich denke nicht das das ein Hinweis auf was Kommendes ist.
Aber ich finde es auf jeden Fall merkwürdig!

Definitiv eine Base, auch im Einzelbild Bedeutung? - Da halte ich mich raus...

Seht genauer hin, die Kanten sind leicht abgerundet und nicht vollkommen spitz, das sind die neuen Rundbases

Ich spreche dem keinerlei Bedeutung zu.
Mehrere Modelle auf einer Base gab es der Gemütlichekti wegen auch schon vorher ab und an und ich glaube einfach, dass es eine Vorzeige-Einheit für die Box ist und man die so für Bilder von Armeen und so schlichtweg leichter transportieren und positionieren kann.
Ich schließe auch klar aus, dass diese Base beiliegt, das einzig seltsame ist, dass es diese Größe von Rechteck-Base eigentlich gar nicht gibt, oder täusche ich mich da?

Die Basegrösse wäre 100x40 wenn die Modelle auf 20mm-Bases sind. Gibbet (noch) nich.

Oder 125x50 wenn die Modelle auf 25mm-Bases stehen. Gibbet (noch)nicht.

Bei dem Bild handelt es sich umeinander White Dwarf. Weiß nicht, ob das schon geklärt war...

Thanks to Harry and everything, but what we know is hardly worth knowing so far. In fact GW inadvertently has given more info with the 'Age of Sigmar' flyer/WD ad than we've had for months

Yes ... I do apologise ... genuinely. Everything I heard I heard many months ago when I first started posting about this ... must be a couple of years ago now. Im afraid what I heard (and is soon about to happen) made me loose all interest. (I have loved the Warhammer world and the armies in it my entire adult life .... I have HUGE armies all of them) It is no biggie for me because I will continue to play with various older editions but I am just not interested in where they are going ....
As i result I have not gone looking for a single rumour for a long time now. Even when folks tried to tell me stuff I was very much ... 'You don't know that half of it .... not interested'.

Not stricktly true. Everyone has mates. They will not have been told anything officially but any individual might know someone who knows something. They are actually more likely to tell a store manager .... because they assume it will go no further. The conversation would start with ... "You can't tell anyone else BUT ....." which is exactly how the next conversation starts when he picks up the phone to his mate.

I have also heard that this will replace the Hobbit.
This is what made my ears prick up at the notion above that the army books were just being removed for a limited time. maybe 8th edition will one day sit along side The age of sigmar stuff as 40K sits along side 30K

Seems to me that thsi will go exactly like the bits ordering service....at one point you could order any bit you wanted. but it was simply not profitable to keep all that in stock, especially when they only sold some bits once every couple of years! or to bring out a mould
and spin it just for the single part or pay folks to manage it all. So they scrapped the lot. They then re-introduced the most recent bits that they still felt they might shift a few of and the best selling few % of all bits.
If you view the plastic kits in the same way. they make the vast majoity of their sales in the first couple of months after release. Shiney new toy syndrome being what it is. Soooo ... they might keep the recent releases for anyone who didn't snag it right away ... they might keep the best sellers ... the top few % (Not sure what those would be but I suspect the core troops that can be built in multiple ways and some of the coolest big kits) but the rest would be disappearing because it would simply not be worth doing a run at great cost just to sell one box of Tomb King cavalry to have the rest gather dust .... although that would be entirely fitting for the Tomb kings.

I would expect the lucky few % to then appear repackaged with all the rules you need to play them and their shiney new round or oval bases right there in the box.

Ich könnte mir vorstellen das aos nen zeitliches prequel wie 30k ist...
Das die Zeit einfach zurück gedreht wird, und somit unser whfb nicht mehr whfb ist sondern wie die ersten Editionen wird Richtung herohammer?

War ja klar , dass "nur" age of sigmar geteasert wird ... wir onlineboys sind glücklicherweise schon früher mit den news versorgt worden..
Na dann gibts in 2-3 Wochen die ersten leaks zu AoS ich freu mich drauf , die Erwartung ist entsprechend hoch!

nix Wunschdenke, es gab schon gerüchte dass Age of Sigmar in der Vergangenheit spielen soll, der Name lässt außerdem auf die Zeit als Sigmar das Imperium einte/gründete schließen, oder halt die Rückkehr Sigmars wonach das eine Bild da aber irgendwie nicht aussah, das passt eher zu Vergangenheits Theorie.

Bin ja absulut kein freund von Sequels , da ist der ausgang immer bekannt.
Klingt echt blöd aber wieso soll ich meine Armee in den Krieg führen wenn ich weiß das die Burg, Das land oder sonst was in 500 Jahren später eh kaputt ist. ( das selbe problem habe ich mit 30K )
Wäre aber wie ich sagte ne simple lösung mit den Armeen, lediglich die Elfen waren doch schon getrennt zu den zeiten Sigmars oder?!.

Evtl wird es auch eine alternative Zeitlinie oder doch was neues, aber die rüstung sieht einfach vom stiel eher "primitiver" aus, mal schaun. wird auf jeden fall Spannend.

Also das Zeitalter von Sigmar fänd ich sogar recht cool.
Eigentlich war das Fortschrittliche mit Maschinen und so, dass einzige was mich ein wenig gestört hat am aktuellen Warhammer

Prequel* :>

Man könnte zu Sigmars Zeit wieder anfangen aber mit der Drehung das es anders weiter geht, eventuell durch die Spieler beeinflusst wird? Nachdem Motto: dDie Götter des Chaos setzen die Welt zu Sigmar zurück und beeinflussen diese nun anders, sprich das die Ereignisse andere sind etc.
Und das ganze wird ne permamente narrative Welt. Wäre ja sogesehen nicht mehr das WHFB wie wir es kennen. Startpunkt wäre geschichtlich gleich, Verlauf? Anders. Total anders. :> Kann ja sein das Gilles le Breton bei seinen 12 Schlachten scheitert? Oder gar erst keine Vision hat? Und es eventuell gar nicht zur Entsteheung Bretonnias dadurch kommt, sondern es dann heilige Kreuzritter gibt, die im Namen Sigmars gegen das Chaos ausziehen und halt nur aus den, fürs uns bekannten, bretonischen Gebiet stammen. Das es nie zu einer Spaltung der elfischen Völker kam, sondern das diese durch den Bartkrieg soweit dezimiert worden sind, das es ein kleines elitäres Volk ist? Usw usw...

Oder einfach ein Reboot?
